The Riverwalk Shoppes is one of the best things McHenry has done for downtown! There are shops for everyone, from mom to dad to kids! Our favorites are Marvin's toy store and hello darling book store. Worth the trip every time!

Very cute, lovely shops, and a beautiful place for a walk. I went on a Friday afternoon, no one there. I imagine it is much more exciting when there is a band there and more people. The shop owners were all very friendly and excited to see people! I think holiday time would be adorable with it all lit up. Needs more shops!

A nice, tidy lane of a variety of little shops along the river. Very friendly, helpful and pleasant owners. Go look and see as these are hard working entrepreneurs who just might have that special gift for a friend or yourself.

The shops just opened this week. I have to say this is one of the coolest projects I have ever seen done outside of a major city! The shops all look amazing, and have great stuff for sale. Ranging anywhere from candles to skateboards to crystals and even wine. One of the shop owners told me that the lease for the shops lasts until December, so make sure you check out all the shops before it's too late!

It was absolutely amazing. The Evening Views are spectacular and The little shops represent a variety of wonderful items to shop for in a quaint cute spot at the Riverwalk in McHenry ☺️

Great time! Also, the improvements to this river walk. With the boat docks like this, everything else. Well, it is pure Genius!! I like to take a break at this point when traveling the river with my cabin cruiser. We usually just walk around. Now it is so nice! Thanks

The shops are amazing especially Bumble Bread. I just want to give a shout out to Tye the Pie Guy. He’s the reason why I do what I do. If it weren’t for his professional baking skills and sense of humor I wouldn’t have stopped nor given this review. The pies are out of this world! The rest of the shops are just as wonderful. The Peaceful Project is another one of my faves. If your into games and Legos it’s a must visit too. I highly recommend visiting all the shops at the Mchenry river walk. Mchenry is definitely making the riverwalk a place for a peaceful relaxing place to visit all throughout the year. Amazing job on all the improvements!!!
